In an important step toward opening new horizons and strengthening communication between the Saudi and Malaysian peoples, and ensuring the continued prosperity of bilateral relations through the power of culture, Malaysia’s Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Tiong King Sing, received today His Royal Highness Prince Saudi Minister of Culture.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Saudi Minister of Culture expressed his pride in the strong historical and fraternal ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Malaysia, affirming that culture is the most important bridge for deepening these relations and bringing the visions of the two friendly peoples closer together. He also thanked the Malaysian side for inviting the Kingdom as a guest of honor at the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral cultural relations between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia and explored ways to develop them across various cultural sectors in line with the strategic visions of both countries.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Minister of Culture Rakan bin Ibrahim Al-Touq and the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Malaysia, Osama bin Dakhel Al-Ahmadi.
Saudi-Malaysian Relationship:

Saudi-Malaysian relations are deep-rooted and fraternal, built on strong religious, cultural, and economic ties, with a recent focus on enhancing strategic cooperation in technology, tourism, and energy. Bilateral ties, strengthened by frequent high-level visits, include significant trade, with Saudi Arabia being a key Middle Eastern partner for Malaysia.
